"Improvisation. Telepathy. Imagination. Beat Boxing. One Album. One Hour", goes the pitch for this groundbreaking event

The next Beardyman album will be recorded live - and completely improvised - at Electric Brixton in London this weekend. And it's not too late to be there!

Joining Beardyman for the ambitious recording (ad)venture will be his 'Dream Team', which is made up of female World Champion beatboxer Bellatrix, freestyle vocalist Dizraeli, MC Leen, saxophonist Ben Sarfas, three-time UK DMC champion JFB, cellist Rob Lewis and drummer Emre, whose credits include the last Michael Jackson album. Beardyman himself, meanwhile, will be making use of his self-invented instrument the Beardytron. The audience will play a part, too: they'll be invited to suggest song titles for the tracks that are created.

With two UK beatbox championships, a Best MC gong from Breakspoll, collaborations with Herbie Hancock and a sold-out run of solo comedy shows at the Edinburgh Fringe festival under his belt, Beardyman has already established himself as a highly talented and versatile artist, but Saturday's gig in Brixton sees him breaking new ground yet again.

If you want to be a part of this potentially historic event, tickets are still available, starting at £16.67. Click here to get yours!
