This year's Brighton Music Conference takes place on 24-27 April

The first details have emerged about this year's Brighton Music Conference, which is being held at the new venue of the British Airways i360 beachfront centre on 25 and 26 April, with peripheral events at other venues from Wednesday 24 to Saturday 27 April. As ever, the Conference will see a packed daytime programme of panel discussions, seminars, workshops, keynote addresses and technology workshops, while by night Conference attendees will be entertained by top-flight DJs.

Record labels and other electronic music businesses that are getting involved for 2019 include Defected, Ultra Music, Glasgow Underground, R&S Records, Toolroom, Beatport, DJ Growth Lab, Focusrite Novation, Loopmasters, Pioneer DJ and PRS for Music. David Morales [pictured] will be giving this year's keynote address, while also taking part – whether by day or night – will be Friction, Danny Rampling, Huxley, Sam Divine, Low Steppa, Marshall Jefferson, Storm, Tom Middleton, Brandon Block, Kevin McKay, Rebekah, Leftwing & Kody, Carl Finlow and Irvine Welsh.

BMC founder, Billy Mauseth said: "2019 is BMC's sixth edition and it felt like the right time to move to a location like the British Airways i360. The tower itself is a great centrepiece, but we're able to utilise the whole venue, which is incredible, and means we can further develop the conference programme, technology showcases and networking areas. The event schedule has grown again and we’re attracting world-class names and brands to come and talk here, as well as industry pros, students and enthusiasts looking to break into the business."

Conference passes are available now, with prices ranging from £33 to £207. For full details of the programme and pricing, see the Brighton Music Conference website.
