The tour starts in Brighton on 31 October and finishes in Northampton on 23 November
Acid jazz survivors The Brand New Heavies recently released their 11th studio album, simply titled TBNH – and now they've announced a UK tour to support it.
The vocalist for this tour (singers being to The Brand New Heavies what drummers are to Spinal Tap!) will be Angela Ricci – although as the TBNH album features vocals not just from Ricci but also from some big name guests (Angie Stone, Beverley Knight) and a couple of former Heavies front women (N'Dea Davenport, Siedah Garrett), it's probably not too much of a stretch to imagine there might be some special guest appearances along the way…
