Beyonce, Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar top the bill but there's plenty to keep underground dance lovers entertained

The line-up has been announced for the 2017 Coachella festival, which takes place on 14-16 and 21-23 April at (as ever) the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

Whichever of the two weekends you attend, the line-up is the same for each Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and as always the full line-up's an eclectic affair, with lots of rock and indie bands on the bill alongside dance/electronic and hip-hop acts. But there's certainly no shortage of big names on offer in the latter departments!

Friday 14 and Friday 21 April will see performances by, among others, the XX, Dillon Francis, Steve Angello, Banks, Richie Hawtin, DJ Shadow, Loco Dice, Dixon, Jagwar Ma, Crystal Castles, Martinez Brothers, Stormzy, DJ Tennis and Floorplan, with the headline act for the day being Radiohead.

The two Saturdays (15 and 22 April) are headlined by Beyonce, with DJ Snake, Martin Garrix, Gucci Mane, Nicolas Jaar, Röyksopp, Four Tet, Roisin Murphy, Moderat, The Avalanches, Solomun, Hot Since 82, Thundercat, Honey Dijon and Eli Fur also on the bill.

And then finally, Sunday 16 and Sunday 23 April will see headliner Kendrick Lamar joined by, among others, Justice, New Order, Marshmello, Tale Of Us, Toots & The Maytals, Sasha, the Belleville Three, Maya Jane Coles, Marcel Dettman, Patrick Topping and Hannah Wants.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Weds 4 Jan) at 11am PST (that's 7pm UK time). For full details, see Coachella's own website.
