The ADE brand will also be visiting India and the US this year
Last year's Amsterdam Dance Event was the biggest in the conference's history, attracting well over 350,000 visitors to the Dutch city to check out the 2,200+ artists playing in 140 venues.
Now, the dates for ADE 2017 have been announced. The 22nd annual installment of Amsterdam Dance Event will be held from 18-22 October, centering as ever on the Felix Meritis conference centre and the Dylan Hotel. There's no word at this early stage as to line-ups, but it's pretty much a given that everybody who's anybody in the world of dance/electronic music will be there, so start making those travel and accommodation arrangements now!
Announcing the dates, ADE director Richard Zijlma said: "Amsterdam is the centre of the global electronic music scene during ADE, a hotbed for cultural and technological innovation. It’s amazing to see that thousands of delegates and music enthusiasts are spending more and more time in the city each year."
This year will also see ADE once more reaching out internationally, with a series of showcase events at the SXSW conference in Austin, Texas in March. Before that, Team ADE will also be co-hosting the India's Biggest Guest List festival in Mumbai on 23-25 February, where they're organising a programme of seminars, workshops and keynote addresses very similar to the daytime programme at ADE itself.
