Red Cross and wildlife charity WIRES to benefit from EZ's Antipodean tour
Garage legend DJ EZ is touring down under in February – and now he's announced that he'll be donating a percentag of his fees for the tour to two charities that are working to combat the effects of the bushfires that are currently raging across Australia.
The two specific charities that will benefit are the Australian Red Cross, who've been working to help people displaced by the fires, and the Wildlife Information Rescue and Education Service (WIRES), a leading Australian wildlife charity, which is helping to rescue, rehabilitate and relocate stricken animals.
“These fantastic charity organisations work tirelessly, dedicating their time and energy supporting those who have been affected,” said EZ. “Sending out lots of love to all the kind and courageous people that have been helping!”
DJ EZ recently raised nearly £60K for Cancer Research UK by playing a 24-hour marathon set.
The dates for his Antipodean tour are as follows:
21 Feb: Spore festival, Auckland, NZ
22 Feb: Electric Gardens, Sydney, Aus
23 Feb: Electric Gardens, Melbourne, Aus
