The Croatian label drop a two-tracker from local hero Dragan Ivcevic

Croatia's Family Grooves can usually be relied on for some high-calibre deep and tech house fare, and this latest two-tracker from fellow Croatian Dragan 'Feta' Ivcecic doesn't disappoint.

On the A, Digital Delights itself is a rolling deep, techy groover with a sampled, spoken male "digital delights" vocal that drifts in and out of mix throughout. The sample's Steinksi-esque feel, along with some very back-to-92 Rhodes trills, help lend the track something of an old skool feel around the edges, which in a world full of eyes-down 3am throbbers will do it no harm whatsover! The accompanying Marijuana Cha Cha, meanwhile, operates in similar territory overall but swaps out the hazy, proggy shimmer of Digital Delights for a techier oompa-loompah bassline, which is paired with occasional space-y synth stabs and, most importantly, snatches from what appears to be a jazz-era ode to "marry-goo-ah-na" by way of a (female) vocal.

The latter just nudges it for me, but both are eminently playable and will keep bodies moving through the wee small hours for sure.
