Kappa FuturFestival takes place in Turin on 6-7 July
The first artists have been announced for this year's Kappa FuturFestival in Turin, Italy. This will be the festival's eighth year, and following the addition of a new stage last year, this year's event will once more have a capacity of 30,000.
As ever, techno dominates the line-up, with Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Amelie Lens, Boys Noize, Charlotte De Witte, Enrico Sangiuliano and Vitalic all set to appear (the latter playing live). Housier pleasures will be supplied by Jamie Jones, Patrick Topping and Nic Fanciulli, while completing the Phase 1 line-up are Peggy Gou, Boris Brejcha, Dana Ruh and Janina.
Kappa FuturFestival founder Juni Vitale, said: "2019 marks our biggest edition yet. We take previous experiences and make sure to improve every aspect. The venue is incredible, we have consolidated the fourth stage and have worked towards a diversified artistic offer, covering all genres of electronic dance music."
Tickets for the festival are on sale now, priced €40 per day or €60 for a weekend pass - see the festival website for details. In the meantime, here's last year's aftermovie to get you in the mood…
