First speakers announced for BMC

Brighton Music Conference takes place on 27-28 April

First wave of participating artists includes High Contrast, Mark Knight, Darius Syrossian, Paul Hartnoll and more

The first wave of speakers have been announced for this year's Brighton Music Conference, which takes place at Brighton Dome and other venues across the city on 27 and 28 April.

Artists who will taking part include High Contrast, Mark Knight, Darius Syrossian, Paul Hartnoll of Orbital, Friction, Danny Howard, Seamus Haji, local heroes Prok & Fitch, Sam Divine, Josh Butler, My Nu Leng and Just Her. Also participating in the various panels and seminars will be representatives from, among others, Defected, Hospital, fabric, Ministry Of Sound, Beatport, Live Nation, Loopmasters, Roland, Serato, Pioneer, Korg, BIMM, Toolroom and the Night Time Industries Assocation (NTIA).

Panels announced so far will include such topics as copyright law, PR and promo, ghostwriting, streaming vs radio, diversity in the musc industry, music piracy and synch (the licensing of tracks to TV, movies, games and ads).
