Help yourself to 400+ 'organic and retro sci-fi WAV samples and Kontakt patches' by Ian Boddy

Well, we're almost there - it's very nearly Christmas and the Yuletide spirit, it seems, is getting a hold of everyone. Take Time+Space, for instance: today they announced a free giveaway of analogue synth sounds.

Ian Boddy's Radiophonica is the sound library in question. It's the first in a new series of sample libraries called Waveforms, all of which have been put together by renowned sound designer Ian Boddy, who's produced best-selling sample packs for the likes of Zero-G, Rob Papen Soundware and Sample Magic.

This first installment in the series contains 400 WAV samples and Kontakt patches. All were created using Boddy's personal collection of vintage analogue hardware, with the aim of paying sonic homage to the work of Delia Darbyshire and the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. Synths used include the Roland System 100-M, Doepfer A-100, VCS-3 and Minimoog, among others.

Ian Boddy's Radiophonica normally retails for £24.95, but if you head over to Timespace.com before midnight on 26 December, it can be yours for the princely sum of absolutely nothing. So what are you waiting for?
