The gigs also mark the duo's first live appearances after retiring from touring in 2013

Groove Armada declared they were giving up touring as a live act in 2013, and have been concentrating on DJ performances ever since. But now it seems they've had something of a change of heart, because they've just announced four live dates to mark the band's 21st birthday.

Announcing the mini-tour, Andy Cato - one-half of Groove Armada alongside Tom Findlay - said: "The live show is what defined us. Refining a genuinely live dance music experience became an obsession, from minute sonic details to the number of sides on the laser glitter ball. The reward was a lawless and electric 15 years on the road."

The dates for the tour are as follows:

29 Nov: The Marble Factory, Bristol
30 Nov: Galvanisers Yard/SWG3, Glasgow
1 Dec: Electric Brixton, London
2 Dec: The Warehouse Project, Manchester
