This year's conference expands into several new venues, and takes place on Saturday 7 March

Saturday 7 March will see electronic music conference-cum-festival inner city electronic returning to the city of Leeds for the third year running.

The artists announced so far represent a tiny fraction of the several hundred who'll be performing in Leeds on the day, but it's already shaping up to be a very respectable line-up, featuring as it does the likes of Peggy Gou, Orbital, A Love From Outer Space (AKA Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston), Craig Richards B2B Nicolas Lutz, HAAi, Mr Scruff, James Holroyd, Surgeon, Young Marco, Cosmic Slop and, of course, inner city electronic founder and Back 2 Basics legend Ralph Lawson.

You'll no doubt have noticed that the festival has moved forward a few months on the calendar – the first two editions took place in June – but that's not the only change. This year will also see the addition of three new venues, with iconic clubs like Wire, Hi-Fi and The Warehouse now joined by Leeds College of Music, The Corn Exchange and Leeds University Refectory.

Tickets are on sale now, currently priced at £40+BF. For full details, see the inner city electronic website.
