A new EP from the label founders gets things moving again, with a club tour to follow
It's
been rumoured for a while, with Roni Size dropping big hints in the
last few months of 2015, but now it's 100 per cent confirmed: Full
Cycle is back.
The
label responsible for such classics as DJ Krust's Soul In Motion,
Tali's Lyric On My Lip and Breakbeat Era's Ultra-Obscene
haven't released a record since a Sigma remix of Roni Size & DJ
Die's Music Box in 2008. But now they return for 2016, with
the first release to be the Formulate EP from label founders Size and
Krust.
From
there, we're assured there's a full release schedule planned for the
rest of the year, but there's also the small matter of a club tour.
You can catch the Full Cycle crew in action at:
Jungle
Jam, Leeds (5 February)
Hospitality,
Birmingham (6 February)
Hospitality,
Southampton (12 February)
BBC
6 Music Festival, Bristol (13 February)
Sportpaleis,
Antwerp (12 March)
Tivoli,
Utrecht (27 March)
Village
Underground, London (8 April)
Gretchen,
Berlin (23 April)
Those
are the dates from Ronisize.net,
anyway... those on the Full Cycle Facebook
page are slightly different, so go figure! Either way, it's great to
see Bristol's premier D&B label back in the game.
