The Spanish producer returns to Murat Vural's San Diego-based label

Spanish deep house producer and Survivor Records boss JfAlexsander releases his second EP for Murat Vural's Sound Vessel Records.

Six mixes of Feel Live make up the EP, starting with the Original, a sumptuous, dreamaway deep house groover built for afterhours/post-club play with its warm, throbbing bass, ethereal female vocal snippets and echoing synths. It's definitely a case of "right first time" here for me... but if that's not to your taste don't worry, there are five more rubs to choose from!

The Emiliano S Remix operates in similarly ultra-deep territory to the Original, but with tuffer kicks, a more understated bassline, added birdsong and an overall dubby feel. Funtom & Cochrane keep things nice n' deep while adding a little dancefloor swagger and TshegoTMM brings the Afrohouse vibes, while more radical reworks come from Club Sisquito and UruMusicArt. In the former's hands, Free Live becomes a midtempo headnodder centred around a looping guitar riff and heavy-hitting drums, before UruMusicArt play us out with a mix that nudges towards techier territory with its big synth stabs.

All six mixes are plenty playable and between them, deep house jocks of many micro-persuasions should find their tune thirst slaked here.
