Spanish producer Jor-G serves up his third EP for Klartaum's label

Spanish producer Jor-G made his Lucidflow debut with the Tara EP early last year, which was followed by Kamadelo in November. And now he returns with another five-track EP of deep melodic goodness.

The EP opens with Ginkgo Biloba, whch is one-part Detroit to one-part progressive house, served with a African twist in the drums department. Ivan is a deep, dubby drifter that could find favour in house and techno circles alike – archetypal Lucidflow fare, then – while Kokor is an hypnotic afterhours/post-club excursion comprised mostly of muted, lolloping drums, wonky-sounding keys and lashings of echo. Then we come to Maria itself, which sounds positively full-on afer the last two but is really the kind of throbbing, meandering cut that'll sound sublime on big speakers at 4am, before the EP's completed by Triantaria, which is one of those cuts that just makes you want to melt into the sofa…

Another superb EP from this most excellent of German labels.
