The UK's Niall Auld and Italy's M.F.S Observatory join forces

UK producer Niall Auld (AKA Killed Kassette) and Italy's M.F.S Observatory team up to bring you a tech-house banger that comes fully loaded with an original mix and a stunning remix from Mark Jenkyns.

The Original Mix of Freak It starts with a resounding kick and hi-hat, which is backed by other rhythmic elements and soon joined by a repeated, spoken “freak it”. There's a stabbed keyboard riff or two and a muted, funky bassline, and as the track progresses they add a recognisable cut-up female acapella to make this track into something really special. Mark Jenkyns takes a different approach and comes up with a remix that in my opinion beats the Original. It opens with an uptempo metallic-kick-and-bongo combination, then strikes early with male vocal chops. There's an absurdly funky bass lick playing and he adds fast brass chops and the sliced-up female acapella, then tweaks the sound constantly throughout.

If you're looking for a guaranteed floor-slayer, check this package out: it's got two of them that work on different levels, which makes for a very strong release!
