Trance hero Schulz teams up with Miami-based vocalist Bev Wild

The task of turning this track into a credible dance tune is one that Markus Schulz has taken very seriously. After months of listening to vocal demos, he hit on the right voice with relative newcomer Bev Wild. With her commissioned, and his skill set as a producer, the rest was bound to fall into place with - and fall into place it did with elegance and panache.

It starts out with a galloping bassline and a prominent clap, and builds through the chords of the track until you get a massive riser, which is the cue for the emotion to kick in, in the form of a string background with light chords and Bev’s vocals. The latter aren't just a copy of Kate Bush’s original - Wild has her own vocal style that, although similar, lets the track develop into an emotional rollercoaster. As was the original, of course, but this is done with deft trance stylings and works like a charm.

It's a fireball of emotion that rolls onwards with intensity, and boy does it burn bright: this will be a guaranteed showstopper if dropped in the right place in a set. A fact which many DJs will no doubt latch onto, as weaponised trance bliss of this nature is hard to find these days! I can see this tune staying around for quite a while and doing serious dancefloor damage - it's an instant classic and I for one can't wait to try it out over a mammoth soundsystem, where I know it will shine bright like the diamond it is.
