Movement Detroit takes place on Memorial Day weekend (23-25 May)
Memorial Day weekend (23-25 May) will see the annual Movement Detroit festival returning to Hart Plaza for a three-day celebration of the Motor City's status as the birthplace of techno, and the first names for this year's festival have just been announced.
Names like Adam Beyer, Marco Carola, Boris Brejcha, Detroit's own DJ Stingray and Berghain resident Kobosil will get technoheads salivating, but there's room too for housier pleasures from the likes of Maceo Plex, The Black Madonna, Louie Vega and Seth Troxler, while Four Tet will also be on hand to suppy the, er, Four Tet-y vibes.
That's just a tiny fraction of the eventual line-up, though, so stay tuned for further details…
Tickets for the festival are available now, priced $99/day or $189 for a three-day pass. To get yours, click here.
