No word of any UK shows yet, but there are more dates still TBA
Following the recent release of their sixth studio album Love By Machine, which has already sold out on vinyl, Detroit techno veterans Octave One have announced the first set of dates for their upcoming world tour. The trek will see them visiting such world-famous venues as Germany's Berghain, Brazil's Warung and Montreal's Stereo.
The Love By Machine tour begins at Dock Eiffel in Paris on 3 February. After a string of dates in Europe that month, the Burden brothers will then jet off to South America and Australia, before returning to Europe in April after a one-off Canadian gig in Montreal on 25 March.
The full list of dates and venues is as follows:
Dock Eiffel, Paris, France (3 February)
Le Petit Salon, Lyon, France (4 February)
Kompass, Ghent, Belgium (17 February)
Fabrik, Madrid, Spain (18 February)
Shelter, Amsterdam, Netherlands (24 February)
Warung, Itajal, Brazil (26 February)
D-Edge, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil (28 February)
Days Like This Festival, Sydney, Australia (11 March)
Pitch Music & Arts Festival, Melbourne, Australia (12 March)
Stereo, Montreal – Canada (25 March)
Berghain, Berlin, Germany (8 April)
Underground, Rouen, France (5 May)
Dockyard Warehouse 2017, Hembrugterrein, Amsterdam, The Netherlands (6 May)
It should be stressed, though, that these are just the 'first phase' dates - so there are more to come, and hopefully that'll include some UK gigs!
