They hope to raise $50K to help displaced communities and wildlife
The bushfires currently raging in Australia are now believed to have killed over a billion animals, as well as destroying entire communities. Australia needs our help – and now charity-focused Tottenham club The Cause is stepping up, with a series of three fundraising parties in aid of those affected.
On 8 February, The Cause team up with Aussie promoters Bizarro and London crew Percolate to present a monster bash that runs from 1pm until 8am, across six rooms at The Cause and Grow Tottenham. The line-up already includes some heavy-hitting names including Berghain/Panorama Bar resident nd_Baumecker, Leon Vynehall, Man Power, George Fitzgerald, Hammer and Subb-An, but we're told there will also be no fewer than seven special guests. Funds will go to the Fire Relief Fund for First Nations Communities and WIRES Wildlife Rescue Organisation.
On 14 February, The Cause, Dance For Refuge, InnerSoul Music and Voices present Rave For Relief, a D&B, UKG and bass music spectacular that runs from 11pm until 5am, with DJs Gerra & Stone, Emma G, Kolectiv and DJ Sweetpea, and MCs Visionobi, MC:ID, Linguistics, J:S and Voice.
And then on 22 February there's Fomo For Wildlife Victoria, with Heartless Crew, One Man, DJ Spoony, Izco and Olly Rant among the house and garage spinners helping raise money for Wildlife Victoria, which is working with animals injured in or displaced by the fires.
