PREMIERE! 'All Night' by Lúlla

Check out the Nude Disco Mix inside

2020 Feb 13

The single's out on Nude Disco Records tomorrow, and is the label's 25th release

Our second exclusive track premiere today comes courtesy of Nude Disco Records, as iDJ brings you the first chance to hear the Nude Disco Mix of Lúlla's All Night, the label's 25th release, which is out tomorrow (14 February).

Lúlla are Nude Disco label boss Vern (of Stretch & Vern fame) and Icelandic vocalist Heidrun Bjornsdottir [pictured]. They describe the music they make as "melancholy synth-pop for lonely lovers", and sure enough the Original version of All Night – "an icy lullaby" – is a wistful slice of downtempo electronic pop with distinct Balearic overtones. But it was the accompanying Nude Disco Mix that caught our ears the most, a more uptempo pass sitting somewhere between pop, Balearica and melodic house.

Vern tells us: "This song was never going to get a remix, as I felt it said enough in its own right, but after arranging some new drums and chords it turned out the song translated really well to the faster BPMs. I tried to keep the 80s vibes strong by building up the pads from vintage synths."
