The full release is out tomorrow contains three more new remixes for 2020
Today's exclusive track premiere comes to you once again from our good friends at US label Pangea Recordings, as iDJ brings you a first chance to hear Sean McClellan's Call Return Remix of Copycat by BOD. It's one of four new rubs that make up the Copycat 2020 Remixes package, which will be available in stores from tomorrow (11 November).
Copycat first came out in Pangea's earliest days, all the way back in 2004, and is still one of their all-time best-selling releases. The label recently ran a remix competition, inviting artists from all over the world to submit their own takes on the track, with the four mixes chosen to feature on the new EP.
Elsewhere on the EP, GuyRo's remix is big, euphoric and trance-tinged, Andy Leavy goes down a darker, techier route while Hall North's rub takes the track into prog-breaks territory. But it was the hypnotic lilt of this pass from Sean McClellan [pictured] that caught our ears the most… see what you think.
