More quality prog from our friends at Pangea, ahead of the EP's 19 July release

Today's exclusive track premiere comes to you once more courtesy of US progressive house label Pangea Recordings, as iDJ brings you the first chance to hear the Audioglider Remix of Fluque by Micah & Pattison. The EP is out this Sunday (19 July).

We're premiered plenty of Pangea releases before now, as well as featuring them as our Label Of The Month last May, so you shouldn't need us to tell you that the label, which is owned and run by DJ Samer, has been flying the prog flag Stateside for over 15 years now. As for Micah & Kiz Pattison, the two have traditionally worked separately – with releases on labels including Asymmetric, Perfecto Black, Dear Deer Dubs, IN2U and Mirabilis picking up support from the likes of Sasha and Anthony Pappa – but recently joined forces on the track Beam Of Light, which featured on the latest Selador Showcase EP from Dave Seaman's label.

And now they team up once more to present Fluque, which comes in three mixes. They're not wildly, dramatically different, it has to be said, but of the three the Original is the most energetic and driving, while Robert Bell's rub is the most epic and euphoric, with an extended synth-tastic breakdown in the middle. But it was Audioglider's slightly deeper pass that pricked our ears up the most.

See what you think…
