Radio 1 Hideout line-up announced

BBC will broadcast live from Croatia for first time on 27 June

Hosts Monki and B.Traits will be joined by Alan Fitzpatrick, Riton and more

This year's Hideout Festival takes place at Zrce Beach in Croatia on 26-30 June, and for the first time, BBC Radio 1 will be broadcasting live from the event.

Taking care of hosting duties at the pool party will be Radio 1's own Monki and B-Traits. Joining them for the broadcast will be Drumcode's Alan Fitzpatrick, Dutch duo ANOTR, house experimentalist Riton and Tom Trago.

Mark Newton, director of Hideout, said in a statement: "We're extremely excited to be the first music festival in Croatia to partner with BBC Radio 1. Croatia is a destination for uncovering the newest and best in electronic music, and it's great to have the tastemakers behind the station’s dance music programming recognise the festival as a leader in the genre."
