Rhino Records in Claremont, California, was opened in 1976 by the Rhino label (the reigning champs of repackaging, reissuing and recycling hits & misses from yesteryear) which sold off its retail operations in 1981 (we have been independently owned & operated since, so no hankies please). We used to be located in a tiny shack selling punk & love beads next to a Bric-A-Brac Outlet and an "Aura Cleansing" parlor. In 1990, we moved into a 6000 square foot box located on the corners of Yale & Bonita
