Crazy P, Faze Action, Pete Herbert and Stuart Patterson all on the bill
Matt Brown and Jimmy K Tel, the men behind Notting Hill Carnival's biggest house soundsystem Sancho Panza and countless warehouse and boat parties, have announced the launch of their very own festival, Campo Sancho.
The first Campo Sancho will take place on 29-31 at an undisclosed location in Hertfordshire. Top of the bill are Crazy P and Faze Action, who'll both be playing live, with DJ support from the Sancho Panza boys themselves, Pete Herbert, Stuart Patterson, Darren Roach, Reverso 68, Junior Richards and many more. Musically, we're told “the soundtrack will include Friday's funky disco, to Saturday's jacking house music, finishing off with world music delights on Sunday.”
Most of the action will take place in a traditional wood and canvas marquee, but there's also an outdoor stage plus a “unique straw house construction” on the Saturday night. The festival's billed as "family friendly" and there's a bunch of activities for kids, as well as a farmer's market and plenty of local, organic food options.
Tickets are available now priced £110+BF for a three-day ticket with camping. Additional fees apply for car parking and camper vans, but kids aged 6-17 get in for just £20 and under-5s go free.
