Footage from band's live debut in October has been released to build anticipation for shows in Manchester, Berlin and London next month

As we're sure iDJ readers are already aware, Shobaleader One is a four-piece banded headed up by Tom Jenkinson, AKA Squarepusher. Having first emerged with a self-titled long-player in 2010, the band played their first live gigs in Brighton and London back in October - and today, Squarepusher has posted a clip from one of those shows of the band performing the classic Squarepusher Theme, the first track from his 1996 debut album Feed Me Weird Things.

The clip has been posted in the wake of news that Shobaleader One will be playing three more live shows next month. So if the 'Daft Punk meets Jazz Odyssey' vibes of the video below float your boat, then you can catch Shobaleader One in action at:

Gorilla, Manchester (6 May)

Xjazz Festival, Berlin (7 May)

Islington Assembly Hall, London (8 May)

In other Squarepusher news, several of his classic early Warp albums will be getting the 'deluxe edition' reissue treatment later this year - more details on that when we have them.
