The Ark have announced two dance music cruises that will be taking place in 2018, with this year's musical line-up more house-centric than ever. The first cruise runs from 30 August to 3 September, the second from 3 September to 7 September. Each will sail from Barcelona to Sète in the south of France, then head on to Ibiza and Palma, Mallorca before returning to Barcelona.

Both of The Ark's two cruises this summer will be held on the Royal Carribean yacht Vision Of The Seas, which we're told will be "transformed into a luxurious floating festival with no less than four different stages, including an impressive open air stage on the upper deck around the pool." As for the music, they tell us they're aiming for a "mature sound", which means you can expect lots of quality house and techno, and precious little in the way of US kiddy EDM.

They haven't spared any expense on the line-ups, either. Cruise 1 will feature Booka Shade, Camelphat, Patrick Topping, Nic Fanciulli, Claptone, Sister Bliss, Technasia, Aeroplane, Andrea Oliva, Cristoph, Eli & Fur, Ramon Tapia, Pig & Dan and Purple Disco Machine, among others, while Cruise 2's line-up features Adriatique, Art Department, Coyu, Loco Dice, Luciano, Solardo, Miguel Campbell, Route 94, Dada Life and many more.

If you want to go, then tickets start at €149pp for a two day, one night cruise. Four day, three night cruises are also available, priced €549pp, while the full five day, four night voyage will set you back €649pp. For full details, see The Ark's own website.
