Show will go ahead despite two members of the band being unable to travel
Following the success of their recent double A-side Nothing For Free/Driver, D&B faves Pendulum are to play a one-hour, live-streamed set at the Spitbank Fort in the Solent this Friday.
The live show won't, unfortunately, feature the full band – Paul 'El Hornet' Harding and Kevin 'KJ' Sawka are currently in Australian and the US, respectively, and unable to travel due to coronavirus restrictions. But Gareth McCrillen, Rob Swire and the band's regular live guitarist Peredur Ap Gwynedd will all be there, literally holding the fort in their absence!
The venue for the performance is Spitbank Fort, one of three disused military installations in the Solent (the body of water that separates the Isle of Wight from the UK mainland), and we're promised a blend of new material and old favourites, accompanied by “a full spectacular light show alongside a huge SFX set-up including lasers, pyros and flames”.
To watch the show, tune in to Pendulum's channel on YouTube from 12 noon this Friday (2 October).
