This year's West Coast Weekender takes place at the Viejas Casino & Resort on 2-6 May
West Coast Weekender, the only combined dance music festival-cum-conference on the USA's western seabord, returns on 2-6 May in its new home of the Viejas Casino & Resort, which is located in the Cuyamaca Mountains, just outside San Diego.
Whereas previous Weekenders – the event has been running since 2016 – took place across a number of venues in downtown San Diego itself, this year's event sees everything taking place in one glamorous location, complete with 24-hour casino, pool, hot tubs and other luxuries.
Like ADE or WMC, West Coast Weekender presents a wide array of keynotes, panels, seminars, workshops and technology showcases, alongside some killer party line-ups. Full details of the 2019 schedule will be revealed soon, but artists appearing in previous years have included the likes of Mark Farina, King Britt, Doc Martin, Miguel Migs, Cassy, Osunlade and many more. And we're proud to announce that iDJ is an official media partner for the Weekender this year, so we'll be bringing you updates as and when details are known.
This year also sees the introduction of payment plans and tiered ticket prices, with VIP packages available that include access to VIP bars and an exclusive viewing terrace, as well as a 'swag bag' and discounts on Weekender merchandise.
Weekender tickets are available now, and cost $159.99 or $199.99 for the VIP deal, with rooms ranging from $149-$399 per night. For full details, see the Weekender website.
