The gig's on 4 November, and we've got a pair of free tickets waiting for you
Lovers of bass-heavy sounds are in for a treat on 4 November when a star-studded line-up take over Electric Brixton in London - and we've got a pair of free tickets to give away one lucky iDJ reader.
Topping the bill will be Natty, London's rising reggae/soul star whose recent second album Release The Fear has been garnering much critical acclaim. With an appearance on Later... With Jools Holland and a tour with Ziggy Marley already under his belt, Natty looks well on course to becoming the biggest homegrown reggae star to emerge from these shores in many a long year, so catch him now to ensure maximum bragging rights later!
Joining him at Electric Brixton will be his near-namesake Congo Natty, the jungle legend also known as Rebel MC, Nas Project and Conquering Lion, among other aliases. Also appearing will be UK dub maestro and Ariwa Records chief Mad Professor, plus Trojan Soundsystem, the Trojan Records-affiliated DJ/MC/vocalist collective who can always be counted on to fire up the dance, and Subajah, a young artist who's signed to Natty's Vibes & Pressure label.
Fancy it? Then just answer this simple question...
As Rebel MC & Double Trouble, Congo Natty had a huge 80s hit with Street Tuff. But which leading garage DJ was also a member of the group?
Got it? Then email your answer to firstname.lastname@example.org, with the subject line NATTY TICKETS, before 1 August. On that date, we'll pick a winner at random to receive the tickets, so don't forget to include your name, address and daytime telephone number.
