'The C Word' is available now for pre-order on Qrates

Four of Leeds' most esteemed deep house producers have teamed up for The C Word, a vinyl-only EP that's being released via with all profits going to the cancer charity Macmillan.

The EP features four tracks. 3am Recordings boss Al Bradley contributes Movealittlecloser, while Midnight Social Recordings' Carlo Gambino (a Leeds lad even if he is based Down Under these days) steps up to the plate with Low For Me. Fellow Leeds dweller Rob Small - the UK deep house scene's Mr Go-To for mastering - comes up with Fear And Loathing, and then finally there's ALLIWANNADO, which is the work of White Noise studios boss Tom Meyer and vocalist Taylor Hall.

The C Word is available for pre-order now. As ever with Qrates, nothing will be pressed up until they've reached the 100 orders mark, which they've got until 31 May to do. At that point, vinyl will be pressed up and pre-order payments taken, and you should get your vinyl by mid-July. If they don't reach 100 orders, it simply won't happen and no money will change hands... but that would be a bit of a shame, wouldn't it?

As the picture above shows, the EP is pressed on rather lovely red and white marbled vinyl, and can be yours for £13.99. To order your copy - and do your bit to alleviate cancer patients' suffering - click here.
