The album's release will be followed by an extensive world tour

Downtempo and leftfield favourite Bonobo (real name Simon Green) will release his seventh studio album Fragments through Ninja Tune on 14 January next year, with a world tour to follow.

The album is described as “a series of 12 sonic affirmations, featuring some of the hardest and most hip-shaking grooves that Green has ever created”. Guests on the album include Jamila Woods, Joji, Kadhja Bonet, Jodan Rakei, O'Flynn and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, and we're told the whole thing was inspired by Green's ventures into the great outdoors during lockdown, as well as by his experiments with modular synthesis.
