The boutique label based in Bristol come up with the goods once again

With just 17 releases over the past seven years, you couldn't exactly accuse Bristol boutique deep house label Falk Recordings of flooding the market with their releases. Such a restrained release schedule, though, is a result of the label's 'quality over quantity' approach, which makes every Falk release something to look forward to.

Just landing today, for instance, is this two-track EP from Dutch producer Brad Coleman (AKA Bart Van De Sande). On the A, Deep Down itself will appeal to deep and soulful house lovers equally with its shufflng, Afro/Latin-tinged beats, gently fluttering vibes and looped "deep down" female vocal. You could also imagine this one cropping up on sundry 'Ibiza chill-out, beach house'-type compilations... something you certainly couldn't say about the B-side's Cosmic Radio Source, a wonkier, more leftfield affair that's strictly for the 'proper 'eads'.
