Decibel Open Air takes place in Florence, Italy on 5-6 September
The first names have been announced for this year's fourth annual edition of the Decibel Open Air festival in Florence, Italy, with some of the most highly esteemed names in dance music set to perform at the event, which takes place at the Visarno Arena (Parco Del Cascine) on 5 and 6 September.
The festival, which until now has always taken place in June but has been moved back to later in the year for 2020, will feature techno queen Amelie Lens alongside genre heavyweights Ben Klock and Richie Hawtin, as well as a live show by Paul Kalkbrenner, who's built up a cult following with his eight albums to date and the film Berlin Calling, and who previously played the festival in 2018, as the picture above shows.
Reinier Zonnerveld, 999999999, Brian Knauss and Giorgia Angiuli are the other names dropped in the first wave announcement for a festival that, we're told, has been given a complete makeover by a team of architects and visual and lighting designers.
For tickets – currently priced €56.50+BF for a weekend pass – and further info, see the festival website.
