Expect a connoisseur's blend of house, funk, disco and soul

Groovism is a new night at the Notting Hill Arts Centre in west London that promises to bring you "the best house, disco, funk and 80s soul weekender classics".

Groovism is the brainchild of House FM's Steve Harrington and Simon Francis of The Visionaires, who'll also be the resident DJs. Joining them for the opening night on 22 April will be Soul Heaven resident and Mi-Soul radio host Sy Sez!, who's perhaps best known for his productions as Aphrodisiax on labels such as Seamless, MN2S and Jus' House. The night runs from 9pm-2am, and if you want to get yourself along, then we advise emailing and getting yourself put on the £4 paying guestlist - it'll be more on the door.

For more info, find Groovism on Facebook.
