Label boss Jens Lissat teams up once more with regular collaborator Christoph Pauly

Monkey League label boss Jens Lissat and regular collaborator Christoph Pauly, both residents of Cologne, Germany, have spun aural gold in the form of this not-to-be-missed single-tracker.

Camelback's ingredients are simple and readily available, and the formula is also a tried-and-tested one. But as ever the devil is in the detail! It's really the skills of those involved that make a track, which come from experience, knowledge and sometimes a little luck. In this case, all those elements have come together and Camelback is an absolute whopper of a tune! It starts with drums and a bassline that comes into sharper focus as the intro progresses, seting you up nicely for the introduction of the hallowed 303s, which are truly singing their their little circuits out. As it progresses a retro lead line is thrown in, and there's a male (sung) vocal line as well. That's about it apart from percussion, but it's all you need as this tune is so much more than the sum of its parts. I have to take my hat off to Lissat and Pauly: they've truly conjured greatness from very little here.

If you're looking for a track that'll make them go crazy out on the dancefloor, give this a spin – it's a proper little ace in the hole.
