The Albanian festival returns for its second year with a killer house and techno line-up
The week of 12-19 June will see Albania's Kala Festival returning for its second year.
Taking place in the coastal resort of Dhërmi on 'the Albanian riviera', Kala offers a range of accommodation options from beach huts to luxury hotels, with artists and DJs performing on a number of beachside stages. This year's event will see live sets from Inner City, Hercules & Love Affair, A Man Called Adam and Fatima & The Ego Live Band, among others, while Hunee, Derrick May, Theo Parrish and Midland & Job Jobse will all be playing special five-hour sets.
There's no shortage of other big names on the bill, either, with Honey Dijon, François K, Jayda G, Fred P, LTJ Bukem and Jane Fitz among the other DJs set to appear. And because the festival's on the coast, during the day there are plenty of opportunities to go kayaking, pedalboarding, snorkelling and so on - though if you prefer to take it easy, there are yoga classes, gong baths and beach massages on offer, too.
Tickets for the festival are still available, priced £169 (not including accommodation). For full details, see the festival website.
