The new venue in Bedfordshire will host two one-day festivals this summer
London club promoters Labyrinth Events – known since 2017 for parties at Notting Hill Arts Club, Village Underground, E1 and other venues in the UK capital – are to host two large-scale outdoor events this summer, under the banner Labyrinth Open Air.
Both parties will take place at Tofte Manor [pictured], a stately home in Bedfordshire that in recent years has been operating as a wedding venue and holistic wellness retreat, but is now making its debut as venue for live music. Perhaps not coincidentally, the grounds of the Manor include an actual labyrinth, which is based on the one in Chartres Cathedral, France.
The first Labyrinth Open Air party takes place on 10 July, when headliners Âme and Dixon will play back-to-back, with support across three stages from Alex Medina, Carisa, Jennifer Cardini, Jimi Jules, Lola Haro, Nick Castle, Sofia Kourtesis, Terr, Trikk and Tsha.
A month later, Labyrinth return to Tofte Manor bringing headliners DJ Koze and José Gonzalez (playing live) with them. Support on 7 August will come from Josey Rebelle, Elder Island (live), Fred Again, MCDE/Danilo Plessow, Nabihah Iqbal, Nick Castle, Sedef Adasi and Suze Ijó.
