Vocal house anthem reworked in a 70s disco style by the MAW man
There's been a flurry of activity from the Ten City camp since Byron Stinglily and Marshall Jefferson officially rebooted the band back in January, and the latest bullet to emerge is a new Louie Vega remix of That's The Way Love Is, which dropped yesterday (30 April) on Ultra Music.
First released in 1989, That's The Way Love Is was one of THE great vocal anthems of the early house scene, and the record that really broke Ten City (then consisting of Stingily, namesake Byron Burke and Herb Lawson, with Jefferson on production duties) on the international stage. The track originally featued on their debut album Foundation.
Now, as a trailer for the band's impending comeback album Judgement, the track has been reinvented by Vega as a 70s-style disco jam, which you can hear below…
