New releases are expected from the Dutch trio soon

Noisia have announced that they are to continue working together into 2021, in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Dutch D&B trio of Nik Roos, Martijn van Sonderen and Thijs de Vlieger announced back in September that they would be going their separate ways at the end of 2020. But their plans involved a large-scale world tour that would give fans one last chance to catch them in action.

Well, that's obviously off now… so, not wanting to disappoint their legion of supporters, the band have decided to continue operations for another year, so that they can reschedule as many of the planned dates as possible.

In a statement, Noisia said: "In 2020 we had planned our big Farewell Tour, but we've seen a lot of these shows cancelled. This is not how we wanted to say goodbye, so we have decided to reschedule and extend our Farewell Tour in 2021. Details will follow – it's very hard to plan things, since we don't know how long this situation will last. We will be back in the booth once it's over, though. Stay safe, stay sane."

Noisia's most recent release was a five-track EP back in January, consisting of material they wrote for the Armajet game soundtrack. We're told they will "reveal further recording plans soon".
