The sociallly distanced events will take place in Stevenage's Lamex Stadium

If we asked you to name a “clubbing destination”, the first place that sprang to mind probably wouldn't be Stevenage, a New Town in Hertfordshire with a population of just 88,000. But such is the setting for Nu Future, a new events series that's taking place this May and June.

Nu Future is brought to you by a team of young promoters of the same name, in association with Stevenage FC, whose Lamex Stadium will be the venue for all of the Nu Future parties. The events will, they promise, implement strict social distancing measures – something that's a lot easier to do in an all-seater stadium than it is in a field or on a dancefloor! – and otherwise be “fully covid-compliant”.

The line-ups for the parties are as follows…

14 May: Bongo's Bingo
15 May: La Fiesta w/ Richy Ahmed, Dennis Cruz
16 May: Lovejuice w/ Purple Disco Machine, Low Steppa, Jesse Bays
21 May: Let The Music Play: Georgie B, Kenny Thomas, Phil Phearon
22 May: Groove Odyssey, Dave Lee
23 May: Buena Vida
28 May: Breakin' Science, Hybrid Minds, Kings Of The Rollers, Hazard
29 May: Sonny Fodera, Ferreck Dawn
30 May: Bank holiday special: line-up TBA
31 May: Bank holiday special: line-up TBA

3 June: Tribute bands
4 June: Back To 95 w/ The House & Garage Orchestra
5 June: Centreforce w/ Alex P, Jeremy Healy & more

Intriguingly, the Nu Future website suggests this 'Stadium Series' is only the first in a long line of events they've got planned – there are also Factory, Tunnel, Dark, Warehouse and Forest series in the pipeline, apparently. So watch this space!

But in the meantime, hit up Nu Future on Facebook for more info, or visit their website for tickets.
