Terrorhythm bossman Plastician showcases where the wave movement is at with an immense 29 track album

Today sees the release of Wavepool 2; one of Terrorhythm’s largest and most ambitious albums to date. A 29 track / 30 artist album comprising a rollcall of wave talent from around the world such as Klimeks, Skit, Kareful, Noah B, Sorsari, Pinknokia, 4by4, Deadcrxw, Ayyjay and many more, Wavepool 2 is a clear level up from the inaugural Wavepool mix he presented to the world in December 2015.

“The question asked of the first mix was whether or not a new sound was emerging out of the internet,” he explains. “18 months on, and countless great productions since, this collection of tracks from some of the Wave movement's key players and new blood seeks to gain approval of the wave genre’s arrival.”

Whether that arrival for you is now, or you’ve been on this since Wavemob’s earliest uploads three years ago, wave music is definitely here for the long game and is currently thriving with contributors merging from all corners of the world and dancefloor. We spoke to Plastician in February 2015 about the burgeoning movement and how it’s gradually establishing its space on real life dancefloors and who the key artists to watch are. 18 months later, Wavepool 2 shows how much the genre has developed and matured.

In keeping with the first Wavepool episode, Wavepool 2 landed last week as a mix before its full album release today. Listen to it below and buy it here.
