The EP's out on Nu Soul Records this Friday (2 April), with seven mixes to choose from

Today's exclusive track premiere is a treat for lovers of soulful and Afro house vibes, as iDJ brings you a first chance to hear the Club Soul Mix of Amazing Grace by Eddie Amador, Dany Cohiba & Coco Street. It's one of seven mixes that make up the Amazing Grace EP, which is out Friday (2 April) on Eddie's Nu Soul Records label.

None of the names involved here should need much introduction to any househead worth their salt. Los Angeles-based Amador [pictured] has been a house music stalwart since bursting onto the scene with the classic House Music on Yoshitoshi in 1997, while Spain's Daniel Llort, better known as Dany Cohiba, has a production CV that dates back over 15 years and includes over 150 releases, and has worked with everyone from Cher to Deep Purple. But it's surely Coco Street who's the star of the show here, as the respected LA vocalist – who's also worked with the likes of DJ Spen, Stacey Kidd, Reelsoul, Terrence Parker and many more – gives us her take on the traditional hymn Amazing Grace.

The other seven mixes on offer include fairly self-explanatory Acapella 124bpm, Dany's Afro House Mix and Dany's Organist Mix rubs, as well as the main Eddie's Nu Soul Club Mix. The mix we're airing, though, is the ultra-soulful Church Soul Mix. See what you think…
