The EP's out on Traxsource today, with a full release to follow on 17 May

If you're a fan of all things jazzy, soulful and broken then our second exclusive of the day is just for you, as iDJ brings you a first chance to hear the Bruk House Vocal Mix of My Sister by Cortney LaFloy. It's one of seven mixes that make up the My Sister EP, which is out today (via Traxsource) on i-Kue Recordings.

Hailing originally from Chicago but now based in Atlanta, Georgia, singer-songwriter Cortney LaFloy made her debut in 2014 and has appeared on labels including Nervous, Tambor Music and Funkhut. Citing jazz greats like Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Billie Holliday as influences alongside 70s funk, disco and soul, she's worked with the likes of Terry Hunter, DJ Pope and Timmy Regisford, and now comes to i-Kue Recordings, the label run by former Bugz In The Attic man Daz i-Kue, who hails from west London but now divides his time between Atlanta and Nashville.

Elsewhere on the My Sister EP you'll find the more soul-leaning Vocal Mix, a brace of Afrohouse-flavoured rubs from DJ Applejac and all sorts of Radio Edits and Instrumentals, but it's the shuffling, jazzy Bruk House Vocal that we're presenting today.
