Rejekts label boss Iain Taylor will be joined by three "discotech duos"

Never let it be said that Iain Taylor and his Rejekts label are afraid to take chances and do things their way. While the world and his brother are just gearing up for their Ibiza season, their rEJEKT parties are about to come to an end after running throughout the winter.

Iain explains the rationale behind this rather counter-intuitive scheduling by saying that off-season parties on the White Isle are "a stark contrast to much of what happens during the summer. They are more intimate affairs, full of the familiar faces that make the island tick, a place where you can experiment with far more interesting bookings."

There have been three rEJEKT parties in Ibiza since October, featuring guests such as Riki Inocente, Terry Francis and Nathan Coles. And now the final bash in the series is set to take place at Pacha this Friday (7 April).

rEJEKT's guests for the night are three "discotech duos", as they're calling them. Headlining are minimal-mongers Haiku 575, AKA This And That co-owner M_Abbatangelo and Get Physical veteran Cipy, whose releases as a twosome have graced the likes of Hot Creations and of course This And That. They'll be joined by Back To Basics residents Buckley & Jon Woodall, plus Brazilian house and techno duo DJ Roots & Sanchez, who've had music out on Shut Up And Dance and Sensual Recordings.

Mr Taylor himself completes the DJ line-up, and the event runs from 11.30pm till 6.30am. As for details of Rejekts' summer plans... watch this space!
