The DJ Growth conference takes place at Birmingham's Midland Institute on 8 December
DJ Growth Lab, the DJ and production school headed up by Ibiza-dwelling DJ (and former Mint and Warehouse events manager) Danny Savage, is hosting its first conference on 8 December, with speakers including Roger Sanchez (who co-owns the DJ Growth brand along with Savage), Brandon Block, Hauswerks, Bradley Gunn Raver and more.
DJ Growth Lab say their mission is "to educate, empower and inform electronic music DJs and producers by giving you the knowledge, tools and techniques to develop your personal brand and make a career in the music industry." Accordingly, the speakers at the Birmingham conference will, they tell us, "discuss key topics like starting out life as a DJ in the music industry, whilst offering insight into their careers and how they’ve made it to where they are today."
Other speakers at the event will include Data Transmission main man Grahame Farmer, dance music photographer Luke Curtis and Rainbow Venues owner Lee McDonald.
The event runs from 9am-6pm, with an afterparty at Cellar Door afterwards. Tickets start at £62 for a conference pass, or £67 for a conference pass plus afterparty admission. For more details, see the conference website.
