Guests include Lee 'Scratch' Perry and Sugarhill/Tackhead legend Skip McDonald
Two heavyweights of UK bass music are teaming up once again. Following the critical and commercial success of their first joint long-player, 2015's Late Night Endless, On-U Sound founder Adrian Sherwood and dubstep pioneer Pinch will release a second collaborative album entitled Man Vs Sofa on 24 February.
The album is again a joint venture between On-U Sound and Pinch's Tectonic Recordings label, and features a number of high-profile collaborators, including Lee 'Scratch' Perry, On-U stalwart Skip McDonald, and Primal Scream's Martin Duffy.
Announcing the album, Pinch said: "Having spent around five years working together, our work flow has developed and improved considerably, and we both feel that the music we're making now is something neither of us could or would do alone. Adrian has amassed a bunch of new (old) studio equipment over the last couple of years too, so there's been a lot more stuff to play about with, and that's expressed in some of the directions the tracks go in. I hope it resonates with listeners as much as it does with us."
