The second single from soon-come album 'Full Frontal Lunacy' is out today
Today's exclusive track premiere comes to you in moving pictures form, as iDJ proudly brings you the first public airing of the video to Burnt Leather by Vexillary. The second single taken from his forthcoming full-length Full Frontal Legacy, it's out today on con:trace.
Hailing from New York and known in real life as Reza Seirafi, Vexillary's artist biog describes his music as “decadent industrial and techno”, while the hype sheet for Burnt Leather labels it “dark electro”… either way, you get the idea! His biog also explains that he has a background as a chemist and perfumer, and suggests that he's carried the idea of “secret bonds between unrelated chemical ingredients that create well-balanced, other-worldly scents” through into his music-making.
It seems to have worked: he now has a production CV dating back a full decade, and recently launched his own con:trace label, a vehicle for “leftfield industrial, techno and other forms of dark music”. Burnt Leather is only the second release on the label – and now, without further ado, here are the visuals that go with it…
