Synth has been well received since launching back in November - and now the price has dropped
Waves, best known for high-end plug-ins
that are widely used by the world's top-flight producers, has slashed
the price of Element 2.0, a polyphonic virtual analog synth
introduced in November that the company says is "designed to
deliver the fat, warm sounds of classic analog synths, with all the
precision, flexibility and control of a cutting-edge software
instrument."
Element 2.0 is the first synthesizer to
use Waves' next-generation Virtual Voltage technology, and offers
five integrated FX (delay, reverb, distortion, chorus, bitcrusher), a
16-step sequencer with Hold and Retrigger modes, MIDI learn and a
large library of presets, all of which can of course be customised to
your heart's content. The user interface, meanwhile, is kept as
simple and uncluttered as possible.
The synth will work with Macs running
OS X 10.9.5 (Mavericks) or above, and PCs running Windows 7 or above,
and is now available for just $71 - a significant saving compared to
the original asking price of $119. For more details, see
